Two United Church Global Mission personnel who spent three years in Jerusalem are sharing the experience at St. Andrew’s United Church Sunday (May 22).
Chris and Susan Ferguson were seconded to the World Council of Churches and stationed in Jerusalem.
Chris worked with 13 churches/denominations there and Susan worked with the World Council of Churches Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme, assisting Palestinians and Israelis in difficult situations.
Chris has also been the WCC representative to the United Nations in New York.
Lunch by donation is at 11:30 a.m., followed by the Fergusons at 12:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. St. Andrew’s United Church is at 311 Fitzwilliam St.
