The community took a chilly dip on Boxing Day.
The 58th annual Frank Ney Memorial Polar Bear Swim was held Tuesday afternoon at Departure Bay Beach. About 170 people participated this year.
Royal LePage Nanaimo Realty promotes the free event every year.
