The Nanaimo Science and Sustainability Society likes to hit the road to be able to offer its programs around the community.

Those trips now have an extra $2,500 worth of fuel thanks to a donation from Mid Island Co-op.

According to the science and sustainability society’s website, the NS3’s mobile science van brings fun hands-on activities, group challenges and demonstrations to classrooms, after-school program, and community events.
