Facing an uncertain future due to funding cutbacks, Clay Tree Society continues its fundraising efforts with a beer- and burger-night at the Harewood Arms Pub.
The event takes place Saturday (March 5) from 5-10 p.m. and includes a silent auction.

Clay Tree Society is a non-profit group that has provided support to adults with physical and developmental disabilities in the Nanaimo area for more than 50 years
The society is an accredited agency with six community inclusion programs supporting 80 individuals.
The programs focus on community activities, life skills, volunteer opportunities, community services art exploration, personal empowerment and independence.
