Nanaimo-based Pacific Child and Family Enrichment Society (PacificCARE) was recognized by a third party group as providing high quality services to the community.
The organization was recently re-accredited by the Council on Accreditation, an independent, non-profit international organization that reviews and analyzes a group’s administrative operations and service delivery practices, and measures the group against national standards of best practice. Standards emphasize services that are accessible, appropriate, culturally responsive, evidence-based and outcomes oriented.
PacificCARE was first accredited with the COA in 2007. The society assists parents in finding childcare and provides information, workshops and consultant services that help ensure quality care.
