Chicken dinner good for kids

NANAIMO – KFC help fund treatments, specialized equipment and other services at B.C. Children’s Hospital.

This summer, Nanaimo residents who purchase an eight-piece family feast from KFC help fund treatments, specialized equipment and other services at B.C. Children’s Hospital.

The 30-day campaign runs until July 15 and allows customers to show their support for the hospital by either purchasing the family feast or buying a Children’s Miracle Network’s Miracle Balloon icon at participating KFC locations.

“Every year B.C. Children’s Hospital receives over 200,000 visits from children visits from children across the province,” said Teri Nicholas, president and CEO of the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Support from KFC’s customers will help us ensure these children receive the very best in care.”
