Fairwinds Golf Club is inviting people to play for a good cause during its annual Thanks for Giving Tournament.
The event is organized by Nanoose Community Services and supports its food bank. The tournament format is a four-person scramble and there will be a live and silent auction to raise money.
People who register before Aug. 30 can win an early bird prize. The entry fee is $110 and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart and dinner.
