Five gifts of $500 each were presented to Haven Society, Loaves and Fishes, Nanaimo Community Hospice, Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation, and the Salvation Army from residents at Berwick on the Lake.
Residents organize weekly fundraisers to support local charities.
This marks the second donation since January, a total of $5,000 this year alone.
