The Mount Benson Buckskinners invite the public back in time with its 30 annual Rendezvous this weekend (June 28-July 1).
Hosted by the Nanaimo Fish and Game Protective Society, 1325 Nanaimo Lakes Rd., the event includes: a trail walk with cap, flint and trade gun; a pistol trail with 20 targets; a hawk and knife trail with 25 targets; small bore and cartridge rifle.
There is also a mini cannon event, primitive archery, points for costumes and awards and prizes.
Cost is $25 and includes a steak dinner Saturday night.
