Blizzards are in the forecast for the province Thursday (July 26) as Dairy Queen hosts its annual DQ Miracle Treat Day.
Dairy Queens across the province will donate proceeds from every Blizzard sold to B.C. Children’s Hospital, a member of the Children’s Miracle Network.
Nanaimo Dairy Queens are at 280 Nicol St., 3190 North Island Hwy. and 6888 Island Hwy.
Last year’s event raised close to $350,000.
The money supports life-saving research, education programs and the purchase of medical equipment at B.C. Children’s Hospital.
