Attire from around the world showcased at VIU fashion show

Show held as part of World VIU Days at Nanaimo campus

A celebration of global culture at Vancouver Island University included a fashion show held this afternoon.

World VIU Days recognizes cultural diversity with a theme of ‘community through movement.’

Mitch Miyagawa, VIU intercultural program coordinator, said the show, held Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the university’s cafeteria, featured 20 models wearing fine traditional clothes from several continents.
