To the Editor,

The Errington Therapeutic Riding Association’s annual pledge ride was a great success this year.

Held at the Arbutus Meadows Equestrian Centre, 20 riders enjoyed scenic trails and contributed more than $3,000 in pledges towards ETRA’s riding program costs for people with disabilities.

Congratulations to the first five pledge-amount winners, Lesley Coultish, Jayden Henderson, Kendra and Nina Edgar, Jayne Lapper and Barb McGowan.

A special note of thanks goes out to the members of Cedar Horse Club and Silver Spur Riding Club, whose annual participation assures this ride will always be a financial success, as well as to all the other valued pledge riders who contributed and participated at the event.

Thanks also goes out to the generosity of the Parksville and Cassidy businesses that supplied the first place finisher trophy, tents and food and beverages for the event. All of them have supported our program on an ongoing basis for many years and it is appreciated.

Last, but certainly not least, our thanks and utmost appreciation goes out to all the association volunteers who continue to help make this annual fundraising event an outstanding success.
