Active for Life Expo keeps kids on the move

Community event was held today at Nanaimo’s Harewood Centennial Park

The Active for Life Expo was chock-full of activity today.

The annual event, a partnership between the Nanaimo Division of Family Practice and PacificSport Vancouver Island, was held Saturday at Harewood Centennial Park’s Sherry Field.

The expo had numerous games and exercises for children, and community groups had information booths set up to point families to activities such as rock climbing, judo, paddling, lawn bowling, yoga and more.
