Aboriginal education grants assist university students

A trio of Nanaimo residents each received $3,500 B.C. Aboriginal Student Awards to further their post secondary education.

Jason McKee, attending Vancouver Island University, Catrina Webster, at the University of British Columbia, and Aileen Tuck, at the University of Victoria, were among 117 B.C. aboriginal students to receive $311,500 in grants from the Irving K. Barber British Columbia Scholarship Society.
