Island West Coast Developments Ltd. triumphed over hundreds of other applicants to win the Best Managed Award from the 2013 Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
This prestigious national award is sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, National Post, Queen’s School of Business and MacKay CEO Forums and ushers Island West Coast Developments into an elite group of companies across the country.
“We are incredibly honoured to be a smaller company from Vancouver Island that is sitting with a lot of very large companies throughout Canada,” said Greg Constable, company president. “Having our whole management team recognized at a national level is something I couldn’t have imagined when I started out.”
Canada's Best Managed Companies is a national awards program launched in 1993 that continues to as the mark of excellence for Canadian-owned and managed companies with revenues over $10 million.
The winners of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies award, along with the Gold Standard winners, Requalified and Platinum Club members, will be honoured at the annual Canada’s Best Managed Companies gala in Toronto today (April 1).
