Innovation Island presents seminars for entrepreneurs

NANAIMO – Entrepreneurs share expertise at two business seminars in April.

Innovation Island and B.C. Innovation Council New Ventures host two seminars in April where entrepreneurs share their experience and expertise.

Ralph Turfus, a technology entrepreneur who spent three decades in the information technology sector, will help entrepreneurs set up for success with marketing strategies and opportunities.

The seminar, Assessing the Opportunity, happens at Vancouver Island Conference Centre on April 5. Seminar runs 1-4 p.m. Admission is $20.

Mike Volker, an entrepreneur active in the development of new high technology ventures and angel investor, hears hundreds of pitches each year from budding entrepreneurs. Volker shares his experiences at Vancouver Island University,, Building 305, Room 440, on April 11. Seminar runs 1-3:30 p.m. Admission is $20; students and faculty $10.
