After initially wanting to pursue journalism with hopes of working for a newspaper, I was happy to join the Black Press Media team in 2017 as Advertising Controller, combining my hopes of working for a newspaper with my business education and background. I grew up on Vancouver Island and completed the Bachelor of Business Administration at VIU. I like that our pages are filled with community news and advertisements that highlight what is happening in the community and what it has to offer. In my free time, I enjoy road trips with my husband and crafting.
