City's b-ball teams all in action

Local high school hoops fans can have their pick tonight (Feb. 5). Every one of the city's senior basketball teams is scheduled to play in Nanaimo, with seven different games on the slate.

In senior AA girls' action, the Woodlands Eagles host the Kwalikum Kondors, the Cedar Spartans host the Highland Raiders and the Nanaimo District Islanders host the Wellington Wildcats. All those games are scheduled to tip off at 5 p.m.

The Dover Bay Dolphins senior AAA girls also have a home game as they take on Frances Kelsey at 5:30 p.m.

In senior AA boys' play, the Wellington Wildcats host the NDSS Islanders and the Cedar Spartans host the Woodlands Eagles. Those games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Dover's senior AAA boys are home to play the G.P. Vanier Towhees at 7 p.m.
