Judo athletes all victorious

The Nanaimo Judo Club had double success on the weekend, with athletes excelling at two separate competitions.

Braxton Clark travelled to represent the club at the Saskatchewan Open in Regina on Saturday, where he won gold in his under-18 division. He won every one of his matches via ipon (full-point takedown).

The same day, his teammates took part in the Campbell River Open. Boden Griswold, Quinn Golobar, Jacob Kruger and Kellie Callendar won gold medals, Vanessa Kruger and Shawn Brown took silver and Jack Harrison and Neil Barnstrom earned bronze.
