Andrew Harris tabbed as B.C.'s best
First Nanaimo adopted Andrew Harris as its own, and now Sport B.C. has done the same.
Harris, the B.C. Lions running back, who is from Winnipeg, was named this week as a finalist for Sport B.C.’s Athlete of the Year.
The former V.I. Raiders star was chosen Most Outstanding Canadian after helping the Lions win the Grey Cup in November.
Other finalists include soccer player Christine Sinclair, hockey player Mark Recchi and Harris’s Lions teammate Paul McCallum.
