Bulldogs will hit hard as playoffs near
The football season is a short one, so the Barsby Bulldogs (3-0) need to make the most of it.
The AA varsity football team concludes its regular season Saturday (Nov. 5) with a road game against the South Delta Sun Devils.
The ’Dawgs want to finish undefeated, but they also want to make sure they’re a playoff-ready team. Barsby coach Rob Stevenson said fans will be able to hear his team's hits "coming across the water".
“We want to come out and make an exclamation point on the regular season," said the coach. "We want to come out there and take it to that football team. They're going to get our full measure."
The Bulldogs have already clinched home-field advantage in the playoffs; the game will be Nov. 11 at Beban Park's Merle Logan Field. Kickoff time is yet to be determined.
