Multi-sport camp gets kids in the game
Kids like to play and PacificSport is happy to organize the games.
The provincial sports body hosts XploreSportZ multi-sport camps throughout the year, and its next project will be an Active Star camp for kids four-six years old from Aug. 15-19.
The camp runs from 9 a.m.-noon each day at Fairview Community School.
The sports and games are designed to target a variety of different body movements to teach fundamental skills as part of PacificSport’s long-term athlete development strategy.
Parents are encouraged to participate in some of the activities with their children, but it is not mandatory.
