MMA athlete goes full throttle for win

A Nanaimo mixed martial arts competitor added a win to his amateur record last month.

Dwayne Ganderton was a winner at Full Throttle Fight Night on July 23 in Comox, when he defeated Kent “The Furnace” Forneau by TKO after a series of strikes.

The heavyweight was representing Pure Self Defence studios.
