Jr. B T-men can't wait to play rivals

The Nanaimo Timbermen junior B lacrosse team has been waiting a long time to get back on the floor.

After a break in the Pacific North West Junior Lacrosse League schedule, the T-men (3-4-1) face the Campbell River Ravens (2-6)  on Saturday (June 18) at 3:30 p.m. at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.

The Timbermen and Ravens are working on a burgeoning rivalry. The last time the teams met was a verbal and physical battle up Island that the Ravens won 5-3. Afterward Campbell River publicly criticized Nanaimo for perceived poor sportsmanship.
