Coal Miners will play ball

The city’s senior men’s baseball team steps on the diamond for the first time this weekend.

The Nanaimo Coal Miners start their year with a pair of exhibition games Saturday (May 14) in Victoria. The Pacific International League team’s home openers are May 22 when the Burnaby Bulldogs visit Serauxmen Stadium for games at noon and 2:30 p.m.

Look for more information on the Coal Miners in an upcoming issue.
