Lacrosse season getting in gear

Lacrosse season must be just around the corner. The Nanaimo District Lacrosse Association and the Nanaimo Timbermen senior A club are teaming up for an event Saturday (April 2).

Minor lacrosse will hold an equipment swap and sale from noon-3 p.m. at the Nanaimo Ice Cente. At the same time, minor lacrosse players can participate in a skills challenge led by the T-men. Hardest shot, shooting accuracy and speed drills are planned.
