VIU badminton brings back medals

Vancouver Island University’s badminton players didn’t end up winning their mixed doubles competition at nationals, but they still finish with gold.

VIU’s Bryan Cassels and Jenny Aronson helped the B.C. Colleges’ Athletic Association team to the Team Supremacy title at the Canadian Colleges’ Athletic Association championships in Nova Scotia on the weekend.

The B.C. teams dominated nationals with a 21-4 record, ahead of the Alberta team that went 17-8.
