Runners quick at Cedar 12K

A sizable field of runners kept up a fast pace at the Cedar 12K event this past weekend. The Bastion Running Club hosted the Frontrunners Island Race Series stop on Sunday morning.

Jim Finlayson was first to the finish line in 37 minutes, 11 seconds, while Rejean Chiasson came second and Sean Chester was third. Care Wakely was the first female to finish.

The Bastion club sits second in series points standings behind Victoria through three races.
