Stilwell earns gold at paralympic meet
Michelle Stilwell of Nanoose Bay continues to tear up the track at the World Paralympic Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Stilwell has earned two gold medals in the T52 wheelchair classification, winning the 200-metre race Monday with a time of 37.12 seconds.
She finished first in the 100 metres Saturday in a tournament-record time of 20.35 seconds.
Stilwell’s gold on Saturday was Canada’s first medal of the event.
