United men get Gorged

The Nanaimo United Div. 1 men’s soccer team fell 3-2 to Gorge FC in Victoria on Saturday in Vancouver Island Soccer League action.

Chris Arnett and former Gorge player Romaie Martin scored for United.

The Nanaimo side is on the road again this Friday (Jan. 21) to face Gordon Head Applebee's in Victoria. Next home action for United is Jan. 29 when the team faces Gorge United at 7 p.m. at Merle Logan Field.
