Time too precious to rush

Time is precious and is to be cherished. The way one spends one’s time is an individual choice

Time is precious and is to be cherished. The way one spends one’s time is an individual choice.

I love to keep a journal and I write in it every evening. I take such delight writing about how and what I filled my day with. I love to read back on special times and events and it seems I’m reliving it and savouring all the joyous and happy moments.

I never rush time. I look forward to things happening always and anticipate it with great expectations. I savour every day filling it with as much happiness as I can. I think of my days as segments and try to accomplish a certain amount. Of course I have my quiet times which refresh me for my next activity. Sometimes there are not enough hours in a day to do everything that I had planned on doing that day. Generally my days are overjoyed and so fulfilling and when I go to bed at night, there is such a terrific feeling of having had a super day.

There are many times when I talk with people and they say, ‘I can’t believe how fast time is flying.’

I feel one can speed time or slow it down. It is all in how one looks at time and how one perceives it. I love to keep time at a perfect pace and fill my days to the utmost. I never rush time by thinking and planning on what is coming. My mind and thoughts are on the here and now and my focus is on my immediate activity.

It seems that people are rushing to something or away from whatever. It appears to me that they are not content with the present moment. They are missing out on so much life has to offer them.

So, that is my story and how I feel. You may feel the same or you may feel different.
