Citizens pay for China ties

To the Editor,

Re: Canada cuts direct foreign aid to China, News Bulletin Daily, March 21.

What was our Canadian government thinking when it was giving China $30 million in bilateral aid?

The same major economic manufacturer of consumer products that has cost thousands of Canadian workers their jobs.

Yet another ripoff of the Canadian taxpayer and another nail in this country’s coffin.

Canada is a little fish swimming in a large global pond and it is the taxpayer who ends up having to pay for it.
