Unwilling trustee fooled city voters

Re: Trustee resigns to battle for record checks, Dec. 3.
Well. Donna Allen, you fooled us all.
You ran for office and managed to convince a majority of us to vote for you.
What a surprise to learn that you were a one-issue candidate, and yet neglected to inform us of that one issue.
Unfortunately, the surprise continues, in that a byelection, costing nearly $100,000, might be necessary to compensate for your newly revealed crusade to change election laws.
Bon chance. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out.
