I have a quick reply to those who wish to have all the arts funding scuttled because they think it’s a waste of tax money.
After the recent near-record rainfalls, the Colliery dams seem to be intact.
Some think their rights are more important to the point of causing great discomfort and injustice to others.
The Nanaimo Elks Lodge No. 26 is still meeting and donating to charities and those in need in our community.
No money whatsoever should be spent on culture by city hall until the basic needs of all Nanaimoites are brought up to livable standards.
