This is what Nanaimo needs to get dollar-spending tourists flocking to our city: city councillors have to stop dragging their feet to get the foot passenger ferry running to bring people over from the mainland first.
They also have to keep out of the gondola business or there will be no hope of this ever getting off the ground. We have enough wealthy business people here to finance this. I hope I live long enough to take a ride up Mount Benson because there is no way I could walk even halfway up.
