Re: Former NDP leader to be honoured for service as a Nanaimo-area MP, June 13.

Tommy Douglas deserves a statue of him in front of the B.C. legislature buildings.

Every Canadian on this 150th birthday owes Douglas a big thank you. It was his tireless effort that established a nationwide health care for all. A tiny man with a big heart.
