Lindsay, William John
Passed away peacefully on May 14, 2006 at the age of 92. Son of Anne Roddie Hastings of Dumfrieshire, Scotland and Walter Lindsay of Ayrshire, Scotland, William was born July 12, 1913 in Pinewood, Ontario. Bill was a carpenter by trade and highly respected in his field. During his spare time when he wasn’t camping with his family, one would find him pick in hand searching for hidden treasures, as he was an avid Rock Hound. He was predeceased by his loving wife Yvette (Croteau) Lindsay, his sisters Helen, Jean, Mary & Brother Walter. Bill leaves to mourn his sisters Kay Greenwood & Doreen McMillan, and children Richard, Donald, Thelma (Evanson) and Larry Lindsay. Bill has 10 grandchildren and 21 Great-grandchildren and a special great-niece Christine James. Bill was a kind and generous man, a much loved husband, father, son and brother and will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him and had the honour to call him friend.
