WALTER (SALTY) ARMAND SENINI
Born March 26, 1927. We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend on Sunday June 13, 2010. Salty is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Lilas; daughter, Cheryl (Ray); sons Randy (Debbie) and Darell. He is also remembered lovingly by his grandchildren: Shaun (Kristin), Ash (Andrea), Tyler, Chase, Dayne, Raymond (Daniella), Tod and Jennifer; great-grandchildren: Alia, Natalie and Mila; sister, Lydia Corsini; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and his faithful pal “Yogi”.
Salty worked for 33 years at Harmac. He enjoyed his garden, golfing, camping and traveling in the motorhome to the Interior and other places. A native son of Nanaimo, one of Salty’s fondest memories was playing softball at the old Central Sports Ground, currently the site of Port Mall.
A Special thank-you to Dr. Baird and staff at Palliative Care and the Med O for their care and compassion. There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Salty’s memory to the SPCA.
