Valentino Cucovaz
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Valentino on October 18, 2010 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Guseppe and Antonia; siblings: Valentina, Ernesto, Ernesta, Pietro, and Maria.
He will be lovingly missed by his son Sergio (Heather); grandchildren, Stephanie and Derek; sisters, Angela and Anna, as well as many extended family and friends.
Special thanks to Anna and Charlie for all their love and support throughout the years, to the doctors, nurses and staff at NRGH, and to Darlene and Jackie for all the help at home.
Valentino spent many years working for Macmillan Bloedel and enjoyed his retirement taking care of his garden.
A service will be held in Italy at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Valentino to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
