WALTERS, Ted

Aug. 18, 1925 - Jun. 7, 2009

With Sadness We Tell of His Passing, and Joy We Speak of His Life.

Ted will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years Val, and his sons Mel (Dodie), Paul (Jan), and Ernest (Shawna), and their families. He will also be greatly missed by his Brothers Bill (Ruby), Maurice (Crystal) and his brother-in-law Bruno and their families. Predeceased by his parents, brother Frank, and much loved sister Bernice.

He will live on in the memories of many as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and to all friend.

Ted worked hard in his life as a logger, fisherman, and miner, and was proud of his service to his country (RCAF). His greatest joys in life were fishing, camping, playing ball, and pool. He loved to sing, yodel, play harmonica, and tease.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8, 2009 at the Legion Hall in Chemainus between 2:00 and 4:00 pm.

A special thanks to the staff at the Chemainus Health Care Centre for their loving care and respect for Ted.
