UYEYAMA, “Kash” Takeshi
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the age of 92 years. Takeshi was born in Stevesten, BC, March 10, 1914, but spent much of his life in Nanaimo. Survived by his loving family; wife, Marjorie; sons, Richard (Keiko), and Henry (Sue); grandchildren, Masaharu (Sachiyo), and Yoko (Toshiyuki); great grandchildren, Takuma, Shoma and Yuji; brothers Mutsumi (Shizue) and George (Toshiko). The family extends its sincere thanks to all the staff in the Nanaimo General Hospital, and Dogwood Place. Special thanks to Dr. Baird for giving warm cares for many years. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held, Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 2:00 pm at First Memorial Funeral Service, 1720 Bowen road, Nanaimo. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy.
