STUART GOURLAY
With very heavy hearts we announce Stu’s passing. Pre-deceased by his father John and his mother Doris and survived by his loving wife Carol, friend Wendy, devoted children Kenydd (Kelly-Ann), Kirsty, Pamela (Scott), loving grandchildren Johnathon, Jacob, Jordyn, Lucean and Kesler, loving brothers Paul (Judi) and Andrew (Roxanne) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Stu was born in Tredegar S. Wales and immigrated to Vancouver Island when he was 16. Stu loved his family, friends and life. He was an employee of Harmac for 36 years, played soccer and lacrosse, was an established dart player earning the right to participate in 5 national dart tournaments and was an avid outdoors person who loved fishing and hunting.
Service to be held at Sands Funeral Home in Nanaimo on Saturday, March 4 at 10 am with an open house starting at noon at 3090 Shamrock Place, Nanaimo
In lieu of flowers, any donation can be made to WWF – World Wildlife Fund Canada in Stu’s memory.
