We regret to inform you that Shirley passed away on the 21st of March, 2024 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
Shirley was born December 19, 1930 at Nelson, Quebec. Shirley, after graduation spent three years teaching and was paid $1200 annually! She spent most of her working life in Montreal and Ottawa. She married the love of her life Norm and after retiring from Fisher Scientific in Ottawa, she and Norm moved to Nanaimo, BC. in 2001.
She is survived by her husband Norm and her two daughters Deborah, and Sherie.
We wish to thank all the doctors and nurses in the emergency ward and palliative care for their kindness and would also like to extend our thanks to Kidney Care.
