Sadly, Ruth’s family announces her passing on July 23, 2009 at Surrey Memorial Hospital. She was devoted to her family, giving lovingly throughout her life.
Predeceased by her husband, Thomas Trayton Novis. Survived by her children: Arlene Gammell (Ken), Richard Novis and Susan Novis; her grandchildren: Thomas Novis (Taryn) and Rebecca Allen (Raymond); and her great grandchildren: Keagan, Macy and Charlee May. Ruth loved lawn bowling, winning many medals and participating in Provincial Seniors’ Games. She was active throughout her life playing cards and games, making wonderful dishes for her family and friends and recently taking up carpet bowling. We miss her dearly.
