ROGER ROBSON HODSON December 20th, 1932 - August 13th, 2010 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Husband, Brother, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. He survived by his wife of 56 years Patricia Irene, sister; Margaret Bhallan from Nottingham England, children; Philip (Judi), Michelle Irene, Paul, grandchildren; Frank, Natasha Marilyn (Mike), Amy Helen, Melanie Irene, and great-granddaughter; Chloe Michelle. As a young man, he enlisted in th Royal Navy and served as a Leading Electrical Mechanic from 1954-1957. After his service he worked at Rolls-Royce to support his growing family. In 1968, Roger immigrated to Richmond, B.C. from Darbyshire, England with his wife and three children. Once settled, he worked for Alcan for 24 years. Roger enjoyed 17 years of retirement in Bowser where he enjoyed long walks on the beach, his wife's roast beef dinner, and volunteering at the legion. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Roger's life will be held at the Bowser Legion at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Bowser Legion Branch 211.
