Rodney J. (Rod)
A Native Son of Nanaimo, passed away on September 22nd 2010 in the Palliative Care Unit, after a courageous battle with Polio and Cancer.
He was predeceased by his sister Gail and brother Tony.
Rod is survived by his mother and father: Harry and Marilyn Roberts of Nanaimo; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who have been very supportive during his illness.
A grateful thanks to Doctors Mark and Love and all the nursing staff at the Palliative Care Unit for all of the special care given to Rod.
A service of remembrance for Rod will be held at the Nanaimo Yacht Club on Saturday, October 2nd, from 2 pm - 4 pm. Please come and share your memories of Rod with us all.
Flowers gratefully declined, for those so desiring donations in memory of Rod may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital.
