Suddenly after a lengthy illness, Ron passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Palliative Care Unit. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine; his children: Sharon (Wayne), Steven (Karen), Suzanne, David, Sheila, Ronnie, Richard (Andrea), Sandra (James); and step-children: Wynnona, Bill, Kevin; his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends. Ron was born in Vancouver, BC and was a veteran of the Korean War. Ron loved to build sailboats, he also loved sailing, beer and Squirt, not necessarily in that order! May you rest in peace now that God has taken your hand. Predeceased by his dog and best friend “Squirt”. Thank you to the loving nurses in the Palliative Care Unit who were “Angels”, not only to our loving father, but for the whole family. God Bless You All.
