ELVERHOY, Rino

JUNE 5, 1943 - MARCH 14, 2017

It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden passing of my husband Rino Elverhoy on March 14, 1017.

He is predeceased by his parents, and is survived by his wife Patricia and his daughter Debby Lightburn as well as many cousins in Norway.

Rino moved from Norway with his parents in 1953. He attended school in Victoria at Vic High and was very involved in the drama and music clubs. He was employed with the TD Bank for 12 years in his early career. He then became an Economic Development Officer with the T.N.R.D. in Kamloops for 20 years, and with the C.S.R.D. for 5 years before retiring. On retirement he and Pat had many happy years as snowbirds in Mesa, Arizona. He was a beloved son, husband, dad and friends. Rino loved his family, singing and being a cowboy. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Thank you so much to all the emergency medical personnel for their kindness.
