Harold John,
died peacefully in Nanaimo Seniors Village, October 9th, aged 85. He leaves behind his wife Joan his son Patrick, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Commissioned Officer in both British and Canadian Forces, he served in WW II and Korea. On retirement from Ottawa he enjoyed many years playing golf with his friends at Nanaimo Golf Club and the Nanaimo Squash Club, but his great love was skiing.
