Also known as Dad, Uncle Ray, Papa, Grandpa... Born December 4, 1923, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Betty (Elizabeth M.Charles), sons Gary and Jerry, mother and father Mom and Pop Charles, sisters May (Delcourt) and Pearl (Charles), brothers Matt and Len Charles, niece Sharon Thorpe (Charles). He leaves behind a son and daughter, Joe Charles (& wife Tara Snyder), Karen Charles (& husband Dave Agren). His 4 grandchildren—Lance, Trent and Dakoda Charles and Daren Agren. His sister and brother, Phyllis Oliver and Edward Charles (& Velma). He also has 5 godchildren, many nieces & nephews, cou sins and many special friends. He could always be found:at a swap meet or garage sale; at the arena watching Trent, Paul or Daren play hockey; at the ball field watching Trent, Koda or Daren play baseball or T-ball; at the soccer field watching Koda or Daren play soccer. He was a very special father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED BY ALL.
